Schrick valve spring retainers
Why do I need lightweight valve spring retainer?
Mainly to reduce the accelerated masses in the valve train. Less accelerated masses in the valve train can relieve it clearly. Conversely, this may also mean that so much higher accelerations and speeds can be achieved.

What material is used for valve spring retainers?
We only produce valve spring retainers made of titanium and steel.

Why do I need titanium valve spring retainers?
Titanium valve spring retainers are very lightweight with the same time duration period. However, another very important factor is the higher temperature resistance of the titanium alloy. Comparably lighter valve spring retainers made of aluminum alloys which are available on the market lose strenght at slightly elevated oil temperatures in the valve train and may pose a risk in the operation. Titanium spring retainers save volume compared to serial and aluminum valve spring retainers and are easier to integrate into space-restricted valve train of sports and racing engines.
